Sunkissed by Charlie

Sunkissed by Charlie is a small woman-owned jewelry business located in Foley Beach, SC. Charlie designs artistic custom jewelry using shells, beach glass, beads, and shark's teeth. Her pieces include necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Foley Beach is a surf community that attracts surfers from up and down the east coast. Many young women are starting to surf and are looking to connect with the surf culture and relaxed surfing lifestyle. Charlies's pieces reflect this lifestyle. She requested the logo have a handmade quality which showed imperfections and preferred my original pencil drawings over pieces I designed in Illustrator. I chose a handmade font called Marin that evokes a more youthful, relaxed look that complements the drawing.
