Bocce Beach Branding
Bocce Beach, a sports bar/restaurant in Ocean Beach, Fire Island, NY is a casual meeting place for families and young adults. A family owned and operated business, Bocce is a favorite hangout for locals and visitors to the island. The existing brand was inconsistent and did not market the sports bar/restaurant to the target customer. Two different logos were utilized: one for tee shirts, signs, hats, coasters, etc., and a second for the signage out front. There was no logo or branding present on the menu. The new branding refers back to the beginnings of the restaurant when a bocce court entertained customers throughout the summer. Vintage photos of players enjoying the social game of bocce provide a fun and entertaining backdrop to the easygoing menu choices. In addition, the typeface recalls sports jerseys and vintage posters.
